Dehesa Charter School is committed to providing an educational alternative to the traditional classroom setting.
We recognize that students may need weekly feedback/assistance at the higher levels in certain subjects
and that all students may benefit from weekly interaction
in a small group setting. Dehesa offers various enrichment classes for those parents and students who would like the additional assistance in our personalized educational approach.

Our new programs include an Academy option at our new Escondido Learning Center and our existing Mission Valley Learning Center in San Diego. The Academy is two days of classes for grades 6-12. Students will learn through integrated curriculum and project-based activities to enhance the learning they do at home in accordance to their personalized learning plan. Through the collaboration of student, parent, Educational Facilitator and Academy Teacher, students are empowered to develop the skills they need to be life-long learners. We are also offering a three-hour thematic unit studies option for K-5 students.
